Queen’s forest, or Raniban in Nepali, is where Raniban Retreat is located.  On the secluded hillock of Raniban hill forest in Pokhara resides a unique boutique hotel offering you an eco-friendly environment tailor-made for you. You can call it the Queen’s Retreat!!

The Retreat

Rustic Authentic luxury with nature at raniban

Visitors all say Raniban is the best view location in Pokhara – for magnificent panoramic views of the Himalayan panorama, the Majestic Fewa Lake, the Enchanting World Peace Pagoda, and the Charming Pokhara Valley. And it’s greatly peaceful because it’s on the hilltop accessible through our own-made 522 stone steps through wild bushes.

For those looking for a more comfortable way of reaching our retreat, we have recently built an alternate way that takes you directly to the hill-top, making Raniban more accessible.

Little Mountain Getaway

Little Mountain Getaway

A small boutique hotel for spending your exclusive time

14 clean and comfortable rooms, an infinity pool, sumptuous food, spa, great views, traditional hospitality, and 24-hour solar power back up, are what we offer you at Raniban Retreat.

In Raniban, you can come with a special purpose. We conduct free medical camps for the neighboring villages. Most recently, we conducted a free orientation and screening of cervical cancer (Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid) for local women. We have a year-long unique straw art exhibition and sale at Raniban aimed at saving funds for free cancer screening and staff medical welfare. You can be part of such a mission of Raniban.

Lastly, we look forward to welcoming you all at our “Little Mountain Getaway”, merely 13 km from the recently built Pokhara International Airport.

Guest Reviews

This place is amazing. Peaceful and exotic, away from the hustle. You can start your lazy day by having your perfect blend and gazing at the mighty Annapurna or Fishtail. Or just indulge in it. No words can describe the feeling of being there in person.
